New £6.4 million community pavilion and young people’s centre in Stapleford
Images have been released showcasing the £6.4 million Stapleford facility, which is due to open in 2025. It is one of 6 regeneration projects funded though Stapleford Towns Fund and will provide space for:
- Community café
- Function rooms
- Multi-use events and learning spaces
- Dedicated young people’s facility
- Community centre space
- Enhanced and increased onsite car parking spaces and cycle storage
The public is invited to visit the Hickings Lane Recreation Ground Sports Pavilion tomorrow (25th of May) between 2:30pm and 6:30pm for a drop-in event. This is an opportunity for the community to get a sneak peak at the plans and architect’s visualisation and have an chance to have input in the project, prior to the local planning committee considers the project on the 7th of June.
